The Context

Elo’s B2B Partner Portal is the central hub for major corporate partners. Recognizing growing operational friction, I proactively investigated user and technical pain points. I pitched the redesign initiative to leadership, taking full ownership of the project to evolve the portal from a legacy system into a scalable, modern platform.

The Goal: Standardize visual components on a new Design System bridging UX and Engineering, and restructure the Information Architecture (IA), all executed autonomously under a strict 30-day deadline.

The Challenge

01.

Design System Fragmentation

The portal was trapped between a legacy system ("Orb") and a new brand identity ("Eloquent"). The transition was incomplete, creating a "Frankenstein" interface lacking standardized components.

02.

Development Friction

Without a centralized component library, engineers were forced to build undocumented "one-off" components, leading to massive technical debt and redundant features.

03.

Broken Information Architecture (IA)

With over 30 complex operational workflows and no global search, features were poorly categorized, creating an immense cognitive load for partners trying to navigate the platform.

04.

High Operational Overhead

The navigation friction directly triggered an escalating volume of support tickets. Partners were constantly relying on the support team simply to locate basic tools, draining company resources.

The Solution

01.

Validation & Strategic Prioritization

Facilitated a Value vs. Effort Matrix session with Engineering and PMs to map out technical debt's impact. We prioritized core access flows (Auth0, IA) and strategically deferred complex legacy services to the future roadmap, ensuring high-impact delivery within our 30-day timeline.

02.

Visual Translation with Stitch & Metaprompting

Implemented an AI-assisted UI generation workflow using Google Stitch and Gemini. By feeding the Design System assets as references and legacy screenshots as blueprints, I bypassed traditional ideation bottlenecks, rapidly generating modern side-sheet structures and clean responsive concepts.

03.

AI-Driven Information Architecture (IA)

Engineered a custom Gemini AI Agent, feeding it feature lists and quantitative usage data. The AI analyzed behavioral metrics to recommend intuitive B2B groupings (billing, management, products), allowing us to rapidly construct a scalable and clear navigation structure.

The Results

The redesigned B2B Partner Portal secured 100% cross-functional approval, successfully resolving legacy visual debt and visual-to-development friction. Figma component libraries were standardized with auto-layout and design tokens, laying down a highly repeatable design-to-code workflow for all future feature rollouts.
